Past President

Treasurer

Mycroft Schwartz

Mycroft a CPA, CA, owns an accounting practice that helps small and medium sized enterprises, not-for-profit organizations and individuals, his wife is a high school teacher. They both enjoy the abundance of greenspace, nearby amenities and friendly people of the PBP and surrounding area. They can be seen around the neighborhood being walked by dog Lucky and baby Sarah.

Secretary

Angela King

As a resident of Palliser since late 2017, I love being a part of a community where I see people out running, biking, skating, and walking their dog.  How lucky we are to have so many community parks and be near the Glenmore Reservoir and Fish Creek Park.  By being a part of our community association, I’m able to participate in ensuring our mature community continues to be inviting and inclusive.

Facilities Director

Cal Melrose

Cal volunteers at the PBP as our Facilities Director and is one of our most valuable volunteers. He is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that functionality, comfort and safety is met for all users of the Hall. Cal has time on his hands due to retirement, and volunteering has given him the opportunity to give back to the Community. He believes we are all members of the Community and should give back when we are able. We appreciate all that Cal does at the PBP!

Director, Planning & Civic Affairs

Dave Illsey

Dave Illsey has called Calgary home for over 50 years, Palliser has been his preferred Community since 1987. After retiring from his career in Architecture in 2017, Dave joined the Board of Directors at the PBP Community Association as the Director of Planning & Civic Affairs. Dave is passionate about his role at the PBP and the future of his Community and spends endless hours meeting with other Community Associations to promote and develop a district planning committee, “District 32 - SW Calgary - Multi-Communities Growth Planning Group”.  Over the next couple of years, this committee will lead community planning efforts on behalf of the 8 communities in District 32.

Director of Communications

John Kipp

John and his wife Maria moved to Bayview in 1996 with their two children, Gabrielle and Alexander. Aside from helping in Maria’ Interior Design business, John enjoys playing golf at the Cottonwood G&CC, undertaking various improvement projects, and offering his services as an on-demand executive.

Coming Soon

Director of Events

Jenny Keyes

Jenny Keyes joined the PBP Community Association in 2015. Jenny has held the roles of both Director at Large and Director of Events. Jenny is responsible for helping organize the Community Clean-Up and many Holiday events for the past few years. Jenny has a passion for bringing the community together through events and enjoys meeting neighbours through this work. Jenny has lived in the community for the past 7 years and has 4 children.

Director at Large

Sue Aucoin

Sue Aucoin has lived in Palliser with her husband since 2012 and has been a Director at Large on the Board since 2019. She enjoys running and cycling along the city pathways, hiking in Kananaskis, downhill and cross-country skiing, and listening to live music.  Sue has a strong interest in pedestrian and cyclist safety in the community, as well as supporting activities where neighbours can come together and get to know each other. When not working at her job in human resources or volunteering on the Board, she can be found volunteering for the Calgary Marathon and the Calgary Folk Music Festival.

Director at Large

Lesly Farrar

Lesley is a ceramicist and avid XC skier and hiker. Lesley loves living in PBP because of our green spaces and wildlife. She loves her neighbours, and I consider Mrs Coyote (who lives at the end of her street) to be one of them. The little walkways as our parks and public spaces change, Lesley will advocate for early and meaningful public engagement. She believes that we get the government we deserve and that effort will be rewarded.
